Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced Drayage Dispatcher to support a busy transportation and logistics operation. This role will work closely with transportation leadership to coordinate drivers, manage daily dispatch activities, and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch and coordinate drivers for daily pickup and delivery schedules.
• Monitor shipment activity and provide real-time communication with drivers.
• Utilize a Transportation Management System (TMS) to manage dispatch operations.
• Make independent decisions regarding driver assignments, routes, and delivery priorities.
• Ensure timely and efficient movement of freight while maintaining service standards.
• Accurately enter and maintain dispatch, driver, and load information.
• Partner with Operations and Transportation teams to resolve scheduling and routing issues.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Provide proactive communication regarding delays, service issues, and transportation updates.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of recent drayage dispatching experience required.
• Previous local transportation dispatch experience required.
• Experience communicating with drivers through a TMS (Transportation Management System).
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to make independent decisions and effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong communication, organizational, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Samsara dispatching software is highly preferred.

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

• Pay: $25.00 per hour.
• Fontana, CA | Full-Time | $25.00/hr.
